Happy 4th of July from Spivey Insurance Group!

Are you and your family planning on celebrating the Fourth of July in style? The 4th of July is a time for celebration of freedom and liberty! Make sure that you and your guests have a red, white and blue themed day and have a great time celebrated the United States of America. We have listed out several Fourth of July events that will be taking place in and around the Queen City this Independence Day! If you are traveling anywhere in North Carolina check out this link HERE to see where fireworks and celebrations will be in your area.

Below is a list of events happening in and around Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, and Union County!

Charlotte Motor Speedway 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular

Drivers’ autographs and Fireworks follow Bojangles’ Summer Shootout on Tuesday, July 3rd. The Shootout starts at 5 p.m. Adult tickets are $8. Kids under 13 get in for free.

Fun Family 4th of July in Matthews

Matthews People’s Parade meets at the Town Hall Green at 5:00 pm Wednesday, July 4th for bike and wagon decorating, and the parade begins at 5:30 p.m. Followed by concert by The Entertainers at 7 p.m. at Stumptown Park, along with bounce houses, food trucks, crafts and balloon gifts.

Harrisburg July 4th Celebration: Harrisburg Park

The celebration is on July 3rd & July 4th and having fireworks both evenings. The entertainment, food and activities start at 4:00pm and the fireworks at 10:00pm.

4th of July Festival: U.S. National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, NC.

There will be fireworks both July 3rd and 4th. Terrace Access opens around 3:30pm and live music starts around 4:00pm. Fireworks begin at dark.

4th of July Fireworks: Belk-Tonawanda Park in Monroe, NC

The celebration is on July 4th and 4:30 pm is when rides, food and fun begin. Live music starts at 7pm and the firework shows starts at 9:30pm.

4th of July in Waxhaw, NC

The festivities are all on July 4th. The parade starts around 10am, concert is from 6-9pm and the fireworks start at 9:30am. When the sun goes down, the sky lights up!
